Apostle Reuel J. Abraham began ministering online in 2020 while serving as an associate pastor in California. Erika Camille Abraham is a seasoned worship leader. She began ministering online with Apostle Reuel in 2022 shortly before they launched their in-person services. They share a genuine passion for seeing people experience the transformative love of God and a mandate to reveal the power of God through healing, the word of God, and deliverance. The Lord recently led Apostle Reuel & Erika Abraham to move from California to Virginia to plant Healstrong (A Friends of God Church). The two were wed in 2022 and currently live in the Northern Virginia area.

The Power of God is Real

At Friends of God we are thrilled to witness the Holy Spirit revitalizing believers and setting captives free from religion every single week. We believe in the power of God. The Bible says God is the same yesterday, today, and forever so the same God that was healing yesterday is healing today and will be healing tomorrow. The same God that was delivering the demonically oppressed yesterday is delivering today and will be delivering tomorrow. We believe in the gifts of the spirit including the prophetic. We believe that the Holy Spirit now more than ever desires to move in our lives and to be made manifest through us. At Friends of God and at our Healstrong Miracle Services you will not only encounter God but be equipped to become a powerful vessel for His glory.

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. John 4:24

  • Healstrong Church is Friend’s of God’s Weekly Gathering where we encounter the delivering and miracle working power of God.

  • Yes. God can heal and is still performing miracles today. Jesus healed many people and performed many miracles during His time on Earth and in John 14:12 He said “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Because Jesus healed we can heal also today and perform miracles today also. All of it did not cease with Him when He left.

  • Yes it is biblical. Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:2 says “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” Apostle goes on to explain further, but, praying in tongues is an important aspect of a believer’s walk.

  • Prophets still exist to this day. In Ephesians 4: 11-12 it says “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” Therefore, denying the Prophetic Ministry is denying an essential element to the growth perfecting of the body of Christ.

  • A Christian can be under the power and influence of a devil. When Ananias and his wife Sapphira who were believers tried to deceive Peter in Acts 5, Peter said this to them “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?” Ananias had allowed himself to be filled by the wrong spirit. Another example is Peter who walked with Jesus still got delivered by Jesus when he refused for Jesus to go to the cross.

  • They are 100% Real. And they work with us to fulfill the mandate that God has given us on this Earth. Psalm 91: 11-12 says, “For He shall give His angels charge over you,
    To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up,
    Lest you dash your foot against a stone.”     They have been given to us to protect us. And they appear to many believers in the New Testament.
